Whilst working within the New Jersey stair lift market over the last number of years we have built up a vast knowledge of the niche that we can pass onto our customers. We know each and every customer has different requirements and circumstances. Our stair lifts have a vast range of features that means they can be adapted to for the most difficult installations. We have stair lifts to match your budget. Our supply and fittings costs are very reasonable.
The most common stair lift we install in New Jersey is the straight type. If the configuration of your staircase is straight you will need a straight stair lift. This is also the cheapest option as the rail required has no turns and can be bolted directly onto the stairs. Curved stairlifts will be needed if your staircase has any turns or bends.
If you need a curved stair lift installed the track will be made to order for your staircase. For this reason curved stairlifts are of higher cost than straight stair lifts. A straight stair lift will suffice if the user can manage the last few steps themselves. If they need the stairlift to get right to the top of the stairs then the curved stair lift is the one.
We have the option to hire a stair lift for a short period rather than buy it outright. Many find the stairs too difficult to safely negotiate multiple times every day. If you have failing hips and knees, getting over a recent injury or simply getting older. Maybe you have relations coming to stay for the summer months and need one for then.
The cheapest stairlift option by far is to get a reconditioned stair lift. Sourcing and installing reconditioned chair lift is our specialty and expertise. Every reconditioned stairway lift we install has passed industry standards and a thorough factory check. This means all our stair lifts meet industry and safety standards before we install them.

Stairlift seats and systems do vary between manufacturers. Whilst it is rare that a stairlift is not suitable, carrying out a User Assessment is advisable. This allows your supplier to not only double check that the dimensions of the lift are suitable for the user and the location, but it also allows them to specify which side controls should go and to discuss the possibility of adding powered features to make using the stairlift even easier. These may not be needed now but could be of huge benefit in the long term.
All stairlifts have safety sensors on the power pack and footplate. These are designed to stop the lift if it meets any obstruction. Once stopped it can only be moved in the opposite direction to the obstruction. All stairlifts have a diagnostic display so that you can monitor the status of your stairlift.
